Which henna is which

Green henna is for hair: it strengthens it and adds shine and a warm tint. Red henna is for hand and foot designs at weddings and Eid, with a rich red-brown stain. White henna is a face and body mask and does not stain the skin.

Tips for a better result

Mix henna with warm water and leave it for an hour or more before use. For designs, leave it on for 2-6 hours and avoid water for a few hours afterwards so the colour sets.
