Rose Water with Aker Fassi: Everyday Uses for Skin

Seven everyday ways to use rose water with Aker Fassi: toner, cooling mist, makeup prep, mask mixing and more, plus storage tips and which size to buy.

Rose Water with Aker Fassi: Everyday Uses for Skin

Rose water has a permanent spot on most Gulf dressing tables. Moroccan women went a step further and added Aker Fassi — the red plant powder made from poppy petals and pomegranate peel — creating a toner with a soft rosy tint and a natural-looking glow. It's one of our best sellers, and the question we hear most is: "How exactly do I use it?" Here are seven easy ways.

What makes it different?

Plain rose water is a gentle, refreshing toner. With Aker Fassi it gains a light rosy tint for tired-looking skin, a soft rose scent, and extra versatility for mixing masks. It's far lighter than the pure powder, so it won't leave visible colour.

It comes from our own two brands: Argan Rose Rose Water with Aker Fassi and Lotus Flower Rose Water with Aker Fassi. Both come in 100 ml and 250 ml, which you choose on the same product page. Find them in our rose water collection.

Seven everyday uses

1. Morning toner

Cleanse, then sweep a soaked cotton pad over your face and neck in upward strokes, avoiding the eyes. Follow with moisturiser and sunscreen.

2. Midday refresh

UAE heat and office air-con both leave skin feeling tight. Mist from 20 cm away for an instant refresh. Keep a small bottle in your bag and one in the fridge.

3. Makeup prep

Mist after moisturiser, wait a minute, then apply foundation. It helps base glide on and adds a dewy, rosy glow.

4. Dewy finish

A light mist over finished makeup softens a powdery look.

5. Mask mixing

Mix two spoons of Moroccan ghassoul clay with rose water instead of plain water. Leave on for 10 minutes and rinse.

6. Cool eye pads

Soak two cotton pads in chilled rose water, squeeze well, and rest them on closed eyelids for 5-10 minutes. Keep liquid out of your eyes.

7. After the hammam

Mist face and body before oil or moisturiser for a fresh finish and a lingering rose scent. See our Moroccan bath collection.

Storage tips

Close the cap tightly, keep it out of the sun and never leave it in the car. The fridge is ideal in summer. Don't touch the nozzle, and never pour leftovers back into the bottle. If the scent changes or it turns unusually cloudy, discard it.

100 ml or 250 ml? 100 ml is perfect for a first try or your handbag; 250 ml is better value for twice-daily use. Both sizes are on the same product page, so select your size before adding to cart. Many customers buy both.

FAQ

Does it leave colour on my skin?

No visible colour — just a very soft rosy glow. It's fine under makeup.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

It's gentle and suits most skin, but patch-test behind your ear and wait 24 hours first.

Can I use it twice a day?

Yes, morning and evening, plus a light mist when you need it.

How is it different from plain rose water?

Plain rose water, like our Argan Rose pure rose water, is clear and refreshing; the Aker Fassi version adds a rosy tint for a livelier look. Learn more in our Aker Fassi collection.

Will it even out my skin tone?

Used consistently alongside moisturiser and daily sunscreen, it helps skin look brighter and more even. See also our brightening collection.
